Sheffield Hallam Research Project

A Year 3 Sheffield Hallam student Georgina Thorpe will be conducting research on girl's participation/engagement with Year 7 and 8 girls. The girls will be given a questionnaire to fill out during their PE lesson the week commencing the 22nd February. 5 students will then be selected for further research by the means of an interview (voluntary).

National Citizen Service Programme: 3rd Feb 2016  The National Citizen Service will be visiting school on Wednesday 3rd Feb, 2016, in order to introduce their activity-filled, NCS summer programme, to Year 11 students. The project will be launched in assembly. The NCS scheme is a programme for the 16-17 age group, and takes place during the school summer holiday period. It is seen as a good opportunity for young people to develop the skills for work and life, that they may need to succeed in the future.       Click here for more details.

Blast From the Past                                                                      Heritage High School is hosting a Blast From the Past music event on Friday 26th February at 7pm. From Elvis to Selfies: a fast-paced race through the seven decades of British pop culture.

Heritage High School are encouraging our students (aged 14-24) to attend a Your Future Careers Fair on Wednesday 24 February 2016 at The Silk Mill, Derby DE1 3AF. This is part of government funded national project to deliver 250 events through Chambers of Commerce, attracting over 70,000 young people across England. The Your Future Events are for young people aged 14-24 to inspire, enthuse and motivate them to think about possible careers. Click here for further information.
